Pivot-Head Design

Damages

30 Day Returns and Cancellation Policy
Refunds on cancelled orders will be returned to the card that the order was placed on. You have 30 days from the day you received your order to return your product. If a delivery is refused for any reason other than a damaged product, a restocking fee will be charged to the card on file and you will be required to pay for return shipping on the product. Do you sell anything or recommend anything to protect machine from line drive hits

Couple of questions : 1. Will it throw ground balls? If U angle head up all the way how high does ball go ( fly balls)? 3. A baseball is 9" dia. Why are u saying to use 3" dipple ball? 4. what size netting do U recommend, age group 12-18

Yes, this machine can be used for ground balls, for fly balls it can only do a 30 degree up angle. Unfortunately, we do not have information on how high the ball goes.
This machine uses 9" leather pitching machine baseballs or dimpled baseballs.
For children ages 12-18, we recommend using a 50'-70 batting cage with this machine. -
Purchased the DC899 pitching machine and have used it for about 3 hours or so hitting the Heater baseballs that I also purchased. The Heater balls are all scuffed up and some of the seams on some of the balls are beginning to fray. I followed all instructions and the wheels are lined up properly. Any insight as to why the Heater balls are all messed up? Thanks for your help

The ball release point for the Deuce 95 for Baseball is 5ft and 6ft for the cricket version.
Unfortunately, we will not have them in stock until June 5th 2021. -
I am looking at this machine and wanted to confirm a few things - Do you have to change its position to change between fast balls and curve balls? Also, can you just use regular baseballs in the machine. SEems like some of the comments are you really should use pitching machine balls but they feel different than real baseballs.

To switch from fast balls to curve balls there is a need to rotate the head of the machine.
Regarding the baseballs, you will need to use flat seamed pitching machine baseballs.
The main reason is because the regular baseballs have protruding seams which will affect how the pitching wheels of the machine throws them and as a result the pitches becomes inaccurate. -
Who pays return shipping, if the machine does not meet the cited specifications, and is returned?

If the machine is defective, this is covered by the manufacturer's warranty and will usually get replaced.
In this case return shipping of the machine will be handled by the manufacturer (Heater Sports). -
What is the maximum distance (from the machine to the plate) that the heater sports Deuce 95 mph will maintain a velocity of 95mph with the Heater pitching machine balls?

Standard cricket balls are not recommended for this machine as it will damage the balls.
The manufacturer recommends using dimpled balls for best results. -

Will it with stand line drive hits
Hi Jason,
Thank you for dropping by, based on what we know all pitching machines are very vulnerable to line drive hits, it all depends on how fast the ball hits and which part of the machine it hits.
If your concern is about the machine tipping over if it gets hit by a line drive, we would say it won't because of its stable tripod legs, but again it all depends on how strong the hit is, it is always recommended to have protective nets for your pitching machine so it doesn't get direct hits from the balls.

Would a 1200 watt generator (900 watts) rated generator be enough to power both the pitching machine (Heater Deuce 2) and the ball loader at the same time?
Hi Steven,
Yes, the ideal generator to use for this machine is at least a 1200 watt generator and this should be able to power both the machine and the ball feeder at the same time.
Additionally you can also use a 72 Amp Hour Deep Cycle Marine Battery and use a 1200 watt power inverter to power this machine.

Will it take dimpled baseballs ? If so what size ?

Thanks for dropping by, This machine is actually more accurate using dimpled balls, regular dimpled balls, 3" in diameter will work just fine.
